Understanding Blackout's impact in schools
At Blackout Education, we believe it's important to understand not just how our technology is being used, but the difference it makes to school communities.
Our 2025-26 Impact Assessment was developed to evaluate Blackout's effectiveness through our three core pillars: Culture, Evidence and Education. Together, these explore how Blackout supports calmer school environments, strengthens evidence-led decision-making and helps young people develop healthier relationships with technology.
Drawing on usage data, school-reported outcomes and feedback from pupils, staff, parents and carers, the assessment reflects the experiences of approximately 5,000 pupils across a range of school settings.
